- Hand Woven. You can do this easily by obtaining a loom kit. The loom kit has all the materials you require to make this type including metal loom, colorful and good quality loops, and two loom hooks. Through this loom kit, weaving can be done by adults and children as well.
Some persons have two sets of pot holders in their kitchens. One they intend for practical use and the other set they just hang on the kitchen as decorations. The pot holders intended for use are normally made of cotton. Cotton materials are widely preferred over other type because of its absorbent and heat resistant quality. Add to this the durability that you can use it for a long period of time. And the colors do not easily fade even after several washes. However, if you want to put them in your kitchen to decorate, you may use other kinds of materials that will suit the purpose. The satin material would be ideal, and the embroidered type will provide for a nice decoration.
